Three Pines is an Italianate style mansion built in 1875 for a state senator. The house sits on a hilltop overlooking Petersburg, contains eight beautifully appointed one and two bedroom suites, with private bathrooms. The floors are connect through a three story original walnut staircase. The lay-out of the house is:

1st Floor:

  • Two Parlor rooms at the front of the house

  • Kitchen

  • Library/game/tv room

  • Dining room and butler pantry

  • The 1st floor also contains the Oak Suite: one king bed, ADA accessible with separate ramp entrance

2nd Floor: 

  • Sassafras Suite- one queen bed and one day bed on the sun porch that also includes a trundle bed

  • Linden Suite- two queen beds in two rooms

  • Juniper- one queen bed

  • Spruce one queen bed with access to a bathroom down the hall

3rd Floor: 

  • Maple Suite- one king bed and two twins beds

  • Dogwood Suite- one queen bed and two sets of bunk beds with lower bunks queens and upper bunk twins

Other than the house, Three Pines consists of 3.5 acres of lands and houses a lovely garden, a barn and two fire pits. All of this merely 2.5 blocks away from the hear of Petersburg downtown.
