  • I am struggling with words. This historic home is absolutely beautiful! There is not one room that does not leave you envious. I booked the Linden suite. (…) Amazing. This house and how it has been updated is just absolutely amazing. And the host(s) were attentive to every detail and communicated well throughout the stay. I will be making reservations again.   • I selfishly don't want to share this space with anyone else. Just go! You'll fall in love. They don't make them like Three Pines anymore. Becca is an exceptional hostess who goes our of her way to make you feel welcome. I had two minor issues with the tub in my room on both stays and both times a smiling Becca showed up at my door to fix the problem immediately. It's 5-star hospitality at an affordable price. GO! Now!! :-)

  • Three Pines in Petersburg, Illinois is an awesome, historic property that takes you back to the mid-19th Century, thick with Lincoln-lore and the ghosts of Edgar Lee Master's Spoon River Anthology. This is a fun place to stay regardless of your reasons traveling.

My bridesmaids and I stayed here the night before my wedding and she completely took the stress out of the process from check in to check out. Incredibly accommodating and kind.   • We booked Three Pines Petersburg for our wedding and were blown away by this location. The house is in great condition and hosted 16 guests without any issues. The private suites allowed everyone to have their own space, but the common rooms brought everyone together and offered a place for board games, conversation, and bonding to happen. The kitchen had the appliances and tools we needed to cook for the whole weekend, plus there was plenty of storage space, both cold and dry.

  • Words seriously can not describe how special this house is. My only regret is not staying there longer. The attention to detail is impeccable. The house has literally everything you need to have an amazing stay and the hosts are super accommodating and kind. I will definitely stay here again and send everyone I know that finds themselves in the area

  • We had so much fun staying at Three Pines! The Juniper Room is so charming and homey, and the house as a whole is unbelievably beautiful. The location is perfect in cute little Petersburg - just up the hill from the square with lots of fun little spots to eat and drink. And Becca is awesome! She was so helpful when we had questions.   • We had a wonderful stay last night with the wedding party. Having the use of the entire house was so awesome. I felt like that old mansion was ours for just one day. I forgot how beautiful the house was since we stayed the night many years ago when it was The Oaks. This mansion is very large and interesting and very clean. I would rent any of the rooms. Becca, you are doing everything right and we wish you the very best.
